Yeah school is done and summer holidays are already here! Babbling Brook and I got to sleep in this morning while Regan took J-Bear to his first football day-camp. We weren't sure if he was going to like it or not but he had a great time.

When that was all over we headed to Regan's parents house where we were joined by most of his family for his parents farewell/ retirement party. It was nice to hang out and just visit with everyone. Babbling Brook was most excited to see her new baby cousin! She is very much at the stage of being a little mommy. She is sad she is not able to babysit yet but she has been doing a good job practising every chance she gets.

After the food and cake was finished the grandchildren put on a little performance for us. We had piano and drum playing and even vocal solos.

The kids did a great job and it was fun to see their excitement as they performed. We finished off the night hanging out at the lake in the parents community. J-Bear and daddy played football with some of cousins and uncles and had a great time tackling each other.
